NASG RESEARCH

The NASG research group was formed in 1998 and has published 8 research reports and one discussion paper. It has presented a paper at the BELMAS conference in England in September 2000 and another at a conference in Durban, South Africa in August 2001. Its output has been widely reported in the education press.

It has attracted research funding from TES and NUT and will be looking for funding for larger projects from DfES and other funding bodies.

SCHOOL LEADERSHIP - WHAT WORKS?

GRAHAM TAYLOR, a NAGM member, obtained a Travelling Fellowship through the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust which enabled him to visit North America. He studied school leadership, particularly the role played by governing bodies.
